If your hose unscrews from your current head, it fits. HydroBoost Pro uses the universal ½" thread found on standard hand-held hoses, with the washer pre-seated. The one setup it won't replace is a fixed ceiling rain panel with no hose — there's nothing to thread onto. Everything else, including most rentals, is a straight swap.
The two failure points on cheap heads are a thin thread collar and a brittle swivel. Ours uses a reinforced core with a metal-finished collar and a 360° ball joint rated for constant articulation. Hand-tight is correct — over-torquing with a wrench is what deforms washers and causes drips, on any head. If yours ever weeps at the joint, that's a warranty case, not a you problem.

They're soft silicone, not bristles — they flex under a fingertip.
